Lions Soccer Crest LogoThe Lions are a youth soccer program located in the City of Lauderhill. They practice at Veterans Park and the Lauderhill Sports Park. The City hosts a recreational program for children from 5-13 years old and a travel soccer program for children 7-18 years old.

This program focuses on academics and athletics while competing against local, regional, and national competition. All participants must maintain good grades and positive behavior in the classroom and on the field. Participants who do well in the classroom and on the field are eligible for scholarships through the City of Lauderhill's Sports Advancing Kids Education program.

Registration generally starts in November for the recreation program. The cost is $75 per child (for Lauderhill residents)/$65 per additional resident sibling and $100 per child (for non-Lauderhill residents)/$90 per additional non-resident sibling. Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate, proof of insurance and proof of residency. No refunds after December and all refunds are subject to a $20 administration fee. Official practices generally begin in January and the season generally lasts until April for the recreation program. The travel program hosts tryouts in the summer and generally runs from August through May. For more information about the programs, please contact Veterans Park at 954-572-1459.
