Cheetahs LogoThe Cheetahs are a youth track and field program located in the City of Lauderhill. It is open to children ages 5-17 years old. They practice at Boyd Anderson High School Monday through Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The City hosts the recreation program.

This program focuses on academics and athletics while competing in meets against local, regional, and national competition. All participants must maintain good grades and positive behavior in the classroom and on the track. Participants who do well in the classroom and on the track are eligible for scholarships through the City of Lauderhill's Sports Advancing Kids Education program.

Registration starts November 5, 2019 at West Ken Lark Park (954-791-1034) or Sadkin Center (954-321-2450). The cost is $75 per child (for Lauderhill residents) and $100 per child (for non-Lauderhill residents). Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate, proof of insurance, and proof of residency. Official practices begin January 21, 2020 and meets normally start in February and go until late May.
