The Parks & Recreation Department hosts many camps, School's Out Activity Days, and other youth programming. Camps take place in the summer and sometimes at other times during the year. Please be sure to check back routinely for up-to-date information.
After School Care and Summer Camps
Spring Break DIY and Jr. Lifeguard Camp will take place from March 24 to March 29, 2025 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at Veterans Park (7600 NW 50 Street). The Jr. Lifeguard Program is sponsored by GIFT, Broward Sherrif's Office and Lauderhill PD in partnership with United Way Project EmPOWER & FPL.
The camp will include:
- Swimming
- Fun and Games
- Outdoor activities
- Creative Arts and Crafts
- Field Trips and Indoor activities
- Understanding Servant Leadership with Police Explorers
In partnership with the Lauderhill Police Department Explorers Program and United Way of Broward County Project EmPOWER.

Encore Performing Arts
Program is offered to boys and girls ages 6-17. Learn performance skills like vocal, dancing and acting during performance sessions and assignments.
