Eligibility Requirements
- Must be an active Lauderhill business with a current and active Certificate of Use at the time of application submission.
- Must commit to attending a minimum of seven (7) of the eight (8) program sessions and completing required assignments.
- Applicant must identify a clearly defined product or service offering within the application materials.
- Must have between one (1) and one hundred (100) employees.
- Must demonstrate a bona fide interest in pursuing government contracting opportunities through completion of the application and identification of relevant procurement commodity codes.
- Applicants must select commodity codes that reasonably align with their business offerings and correspond to goods or services commonly procured by governmental entities. The City reserves the right to determine whether selected commodity codes demonstrate a reasonable nexus to government procurement opportunities.
- Businesses must be legally registered and in good standing with applicable state and local requirements.
Additional Program Conditions
- Satisfaction of minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
- The City reserves the right to verify submitted information and deny applications determined to be inconsistent with the purpose of the program.
