Police Department
The Lauderhill Police Department is a progressive, community oriented police agency. The Department is committed to developing partnerships with community, civic and business members to help identify and solve problems.
The Lauderhill Police Department is a professionally accredited law enforcement organization which received its' initial accreditation with the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. CFA on June 29, 2005. We have since been re-accredited in 2008, 2011, 2014, 2017, 2020, and 2023. In 2020, we were reviewed by the CFA and recognized as an “Excelsior” accredited agency (Five re-accreditations without conditions). Upon assessment in 2023, the Lauderhill Police Department achieved a second consecutive Excelsior re-accredited status. In 2026, the Lauderhill Police department was inspected during the month of April. The assessors provided positive feedback and we are eagerly awaiting an appearance before the CFA Commission in July 2026. We will be pursuing a third consecutive Excelsior re-accreditation status.
The Mission of the Lauderhill Police Department is to protect our community and enhance the quality of life for our residents and visitors through professional police service in partnership with the community we serve.
