The US Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced that the Lauderhill Police Department is eligible to receive a total award amount of $55,104.00 in the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2025 Local Solicitation. It is proposed to use these funds to purchase an advanced unmanned aerial system technology to assist the department’s efforts to increase its efficiency and strengthen its partnership with its residents.
