Transportation Master Plan

The Broward MPO is providing technical assistance to the City of Lauderhill for the development of a citywide Transportation Master Plan (TMP). The purpose of the TMP is to address the City’s multimodal transportation needs and to complement the City’s existing and future land uses and overall transportation vision. The development of the TMP will include a multifaceted approach, including public engagement with a wide variety of stakeholders as well as technical analysis and policy discussions.

The City of Lauderhill hosted three community meetings to gather public input on priorities and concerns of residents to help inform future decisions. The City also developed an online survey to collect additional information on community members' travel behaviors, concerns, and priorities. A total of 324 surveys were submitted, including 133 general comments. The results from the survey are available HERE.

The Lauderhill Master Plan Report is complete and available for download at the project website. The report will be presented on a City Commission agenda for a final presentation and recommendation for approval to adopt the findings.
