Transportation Master Plan

The Broward MPO is providing technical assistance to the City of Lauderhill for the development of a citywide Transportation Master Plan (TMP). The purpose of the TMP is to address the City’s multimodal transportation needs and to complement the City’s existing and future land uses and overall transportation vision. The development of the TMP will include a multifaceted approach, including public engagement with a wide variety of stakeholders as well as technical analysis and policy discussions.

Survey:

From October 2024 to January 15, 2025, the City undertook a ten-question online survey to gauge community members travel behaviors, concerns, and priorities. A total of 324 surveys were submitted, including 133 general comments.

Public Meetings:

The City of Lauderhill hosted 3 community meetings to request public feedback on the priorities and concerns of the residents.  The meetings were held in January at 3 locations throughout the city, on three different days.  The information provided at these public meetings will help inform the decisions made by City Staff.
