Free Recycled Paint
In collaboration with Broward County, the City of Lauderhill is proud to provide its single-family residents with free exterior house paint. This program's goal is to increase the number of freshly painted houses throughout the City by removing the cost of purchasing paint.
The paint offered is recycled from leftover paint provided by residents throughout Broward County. This paint has a flat finish and is for exterior use only. The paint is intended for personal residential use only, not for multi-family or commercial applications, and is not to be sold or used for any other applications than it is intended for. The paint comes in 5-gallon buckets and is limited to 15-gallons per household per application. House should be pressure washed prior to painting. This paint is not meant to be mixed with other paints. Paint settles naturally and will need to be stirred well prior to use. This paint is not suitable for use with sprayers. The paint is available on a limited basis in four colors:
- Beige (out of stock, last checked 4/29/26)
- Gray
- Off-White
- Terracotta (out of stock, last checked 4/29/26)
Mention "Requesting Free Paint" on Page 3 of your application, and inform us when submitting your application.
