The Performing Arts & Special Events Department is dedicated to enriching the quality of life in Lauderhill through dynamic cultural programming, community events, and access to the arts. The Department plans, produces, and supports a wide range of events and initiatives that celebrate the City’s diversity, foster community engagement, and create memorable experiences for residents and visitors alike.

Through the Special Events Division, the Department develops and executes City-wide events, signature programs, and cultural celebrations that reflect Lauderhill’s vibrant and multicultural community. From festivals and concerts to community gatherings and civic events, the Department plays a central role in activating public spaces and bringing people together.

The Department also oversees operations of the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center (LPAC), a premier venue serving Lauderhill and the surrounding region. The state-of-the-art theater hosts a variety of performances, including music, theater, dance, and community productions, providing opportunities for artistic expression and cultural exchange.

Media Pass Requests

Members of the media interested in covering events hosted by the City of Lauderhill may request credentials by completing the Media Pass Request Form. Media passes are issued to approved applicants to facilitate access to designated areas and support event coverage.
