The City of Lauderhill’s Performing Arts & Special Events Department supports and provides access to quality cultural, civic, and special events, along with providing equitable access to the arts.
The Performing Arts & Special Events Department oversees the City’s Special Events Division, which executes year-round, citywide event programming for Lauderhill’s multigenerational, multicultural communities. Whether it as a massive outdoor concert attracting thousands to community gatherings, the Special Events Division’s mission is to produce events that enhance the image of the City and highlight Lauderhill’s diverse culture.
In addition to the Special Events Division, the Performing Arts & Special Events Department oversees the operations of the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, a leading venue that has served Lauderhill and the South Florida region for the past decade.
Since its opening, the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center has hosted thousands of events that run the gamut from music, theater, dance, community productions, and more, with a wide variety of entertainment acts that range local, national, and international. The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center also serves as a central community hub, hosting forums, workshops, and educational events.
With a commitment to supporting and providing community, social, and civic engagement, the Performing Arts & Special Events Department strives to be Lauderhill’s center for Community. Culture. Connection.

Temporary Vendor Registration
Vendors interested in participating in events within the City must complete the Temporary Vendor Registration Form to be eligible to operate.

Media Pass Requests
Members of the media interested in covering events hosted by the City of Lauderhill may request credentials by completing the Media Pass Request Form. Media passes are issued to approved applicants to facilitate access to designated areas and support event coverage.
