HOUSING AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The Office of Business and Neighborhood Enrichment, of the City of Lauderhill offers a wide range of affordable housing services to provide more opportunities for income-eligible residents, as well as prospective residents, to participate in Housing programs administered under state and federal funding, such as, State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP), HOME Partnership Program (HOME), and Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) 1 and 3.
The Office of Business and Neighborhood Enrichment also administers The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, which is a federally funded grant program designed to help communities with their greatest community development needs. The primary statutory objective of the CDBG program is to develop viable communities by expanding economic opportunities, principally for persons of low and moderate-incomes.
