LHPP Social Determinants of Health -
Neighborhood and Built Environment
Neighborhood and Built Environment focuses on reducing various environment and safety risks found in the community, such as crime, unsafe air or water, potholes, and speeding. This includes beautification of the city, flood mitigation, park safety regulation, and more.
 
Education Access and Quality
Education Access and Quality focuses on improving the Lauderhill education system. This includes enhancing after school programs, developing mentorship programs, increasing educational resources, gaining more parent participation, and more.
 
Social and Community Context
Social and Community Context focuses on building and maintaining positive relationships with residents in the City of Lauderhill. This includes promoting community unity, creating programs for Lauderhill residents, beautification of the city, and more.
 
Economic Mobility
Economic Mobility focuses on decreasing poverty and increasing access to capital for local businesses. This includes career counseling, employment programs, increasing access to nutritional food, procurement programs, and more.
 
Healthcare Access and Quality
Healthcare Access and Quality focuses on the physical and mental health of Lauderhill residents. This includes providing access to resources, creating preventative interventions, educating residents on health literacy, and more.
