2018 MLK Old School Celebration

Updated on 01/10/2019 10:13 AM

The City of Lauderhill and the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Taskforce Committee celebrated the 18th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Black History Month Gala on 2/3/18.

This year marked the beginning of a new format, an Old School Music Celebration featuring The Deele, Howard Hewett and Midnight Star. This is one of the City's signature events which is held every year and provides scholarships to our youth while teaching them about Civil Rights and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
