The City of Lauderhill Mayor and Commissioners Condemn Recent Attacks and Invasion on Israel, Call for Unity and Solidarity

Lauderhill, FL - October 11, 2023 - 10:00 AM – The City of Lauderhill Mayor and Commissioners, stand united in denouncing the recent attacks and invasion on Israel and the Israeli people. The scale and tactics employed in these acts of aggression are deeply concerning, and we extend our heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost loved ones and our thoughts and prayers to all those affected.

Israel's right to self-defense and the protection of its citizens is paramount. No nation should be subjected to such attacks on innocent civilians, which not only disregard human rights but also directly threaten the safety and security of its people.

In these challenging times, it is crucial that we foster dialogue, empathy, and mutual respect. We must engage in open discussions, seeking to understand the complexities of the situation and working towards a sustainable resolution. It is through peaceful negotiations and diplomacy that lasting solutions can be achieved, ensuring the well-being and security of all parties involved.

The City Commission of the City of Lauderhill believes that unity should transcend borders, religions, and political affiliations. We must come together as a global community, standing shoulder-to-shoulder in the pursuit of peace and understanding. Our shared humanity binds us, and it is through compassion, empathy, and respect that we can bridge divides and create a brighter future for all.

Individuals, communities, and nations worldwide should unite in the face of adversity. Let us set aside our differences, embrace the virtues of empathy and compassion, and work collectively towards a world where peace, coexistence, and understanding prevail. Together, we can build a future that fosters harmony and justice for all.
