City of Lauderhill Implements a New Recreation Management Solution

New Software Offers Residents Easier Access to Parks & Recreation Activities

Lauderhill, FL – Tuesday, December 27, 2022 – 6:00 PM – The City of Lauderhill Parks and Recreation Department launched its new user friendly Parks and Recreation Management Software called CivicRec today.

The CivicRec cloud-based recreation management software will allow residents greater visibility into Lauderhill’s Parks and Recreation department activities, classes, sports, and youth leagues with more convenient online registration and payment options. It will also allow residents to access community facility rentals, such as pavilions, shelters, and meeting rooms, conveniently online.

“The City is happy to provide an easy and user friendly software for our residents to sign up for cheerleading, soccer, basketball, and yoga to name a few. You can use this platform to register and pay for leagues and classes, as well as room and pavilion rentals. It allows our residents the easiest method to get involved with our robust Parks Department,” explained City Manager Desorae Giles-Smith.

The software is designed to be intuitive to navigate and easy for residents to use. In addition, it is mobile-friendly, allowing users to search for community activities and events, register, and remit payment even from a smartphone or tablet.

Starting Tuesday, December 27, 2022 you can access all Parks and Recreation registrations and rentals by visiting https://www.lauderhill-fl.gov/parks or https://secure.rec1.com/FL/lauderhill-fl/catalog
