Lauderhill Businesses and Residents South of NW 48 Street and East of University Drive Can Resume Regular Water Consumption

Lauderhill, FL – Tuesday, November 22, 2022 – 8:00 AM – On Monday, November 21, 2022, the City of Lauderhill Utilities Department experienced an issue with a Lift Station which affected Waste Water usage in the homes and businesses from the 4300 block to the 4800 block east of University Drive. The area serviced by the Lift Station included the Promenade Shopping Center, Waterford Park Apartments, Omega Center for Autism, and Boulevard Shoppes No. 2.

At this time, the Utility Department has reported the Lift Station affecting this area has been temporarily fixed. Residents and businesses may resume regular water usage/consumption.

All City of Lauderhill drinking water was unaffected and is safe to consume.

 The Utilities Department’s Staff along with Emergency Contractors are working to make permanent repairs. If any service interruptions are needed in the future, another advisory will be issued.

WATER ADVISORY - Lauderhill Businesses and Residents South of NW 48 Street and East of University Drive Should Limit Water Use Until Further Notice

Lauderhill, FL – November 21, 2022 – 6:00 PM – The City of Lauderhill has experienced an issue with a Lift Station that affects waste water in homes and businesses from the 4300 block to the 4800 block east of University Drive. This includes the Promenade Shopping Center, Waterford Park Apartments, Omega Center for Autism, and Boulevard Shoppes No. 2.

These residents and businesses should severely limit water usage.

Please DO NOT run water or flush toilets unless necessary until the advisory is lifted.

All City of Lauderhill drinking water was unaffected and is safe to consume.

 The City of Lauderhill Utilities Staff along with Emergency Contractors are working to make the necessary repairs.

When the repairs are completed and water usage may resume at a normal level, another notice will be posted and sent.
