Broward Crime Stoppers is a not-for-profit organization that serves as a clearinghouse for anonymous tips. Established in Broward County in 1981, it is dedicated to preventing and solving crimes. As a bonus, if your information results in an arrest, you may be eligible to collect a monetary reward.

Since its inception, Broward Crime Stoppers has truly made a difference in the community: 24,182 cases cleared, 13,171 arrests made, and 292 homicides solved.

How does it work?

You may submit an anonymous tip by phone, online, or through their mobile application. No one will ask you for your name nor telephone number. They do not use any tracking software and there is no caller ID. It is totally anonymous.

Once you submit the tip, your tip is assigned a unique number code which can be used to check the status of the tip by phone or online. If you are deemed eligible for a reward, it is paid in cash without questions regarding your identity.
