SAKE Awards 2022 Recap

On Wednesday, March 23rd, Commissioner Denise D. Grant and the Parks and Recreation department hosted its annual SAKE Awards, at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center. The Sports Advancing Kids Education (SAKE) Awards honors student-athletes in the youth sports programs. Guest speakers Xavien Howard (Miami Dolphins) and Randy Ramsey (Green Bay Packers) were among other familiar names of the sports world present to inspire the ambitions of a younger generation, like Trabis Ward.
