From the bottom of my heart, I wish you all a great 2022!

We at the Lauderhill Police Department (LPD) were able to close out 2021 with a couple of our FAVORITE events.

Secret Santa was held on December 15th by LPD. Two children from eight Lauderhill elementary schools were rewarded by their schools for demonstrating good citizenship, leadership, hard work, and integrity. Each child received a new bicycle, a $50 Target gift card, and a Certificate of Recognition for being star students at embodying these core values.

On December 20, 2021, LPD hosted Heroes and Helpers event (you might remember it as Shop with a Cop). This event is made possible through a grant from the Target Corporation. LPD officers hosted 15 distinguished middle school and high school students, who were each paired with an officer. The two would be breakfast buddies, play a trivia game, and paint ornaments. Participant also received a $100 gift card to shop at Target with our officers.

We can't wait until the next time we can make more positive, enriching memories.
Have a happy new year, everyone!

Yours in service,

Chief Constance Stanley
