
Lauderhill Transit Center Offers Bus Passes Starting October 1
Free COVID-19 vaccines are also available
BROWARD COUNTY, FL - Beginning October 1, Broward County Transit (BCT) customers will be able to purchase bus passes at the Lauderhill Transit Center, located at 1359 NW 40th Avenue in Lauderhill. Passes will be available at the customer service window, near the front of the terminal, Monday through Friday from 6AM to 8PM and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 8:45AM to 4:45PM.
BCT offers a variety of passes to accommodate every rider, including all-day passes, 10-ride passes, unlimited ride passes and premium express passes. They also offer reduced fare passes for seniors, college students, youth and disabled riders. Visit Broward.org/BCT for required documentation.
"BCT is pleased to provide another location where our customers can conveniently purchase bus passes. We are always looking for ways to make riding the bus easier," said Broward County Transportation Director Chris Walton.
Customers can also get a free Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine at the Lauderhill Transit Center. BCT continues to partner with the Florida Department of Health-Broward to offer the vaccines at its terminals to anyone 12 years and older. No appointment or insurance is needed and customers who receive their first or second dose of the vaccine will receive a free 31-day bus pass for each shot. The vaccine pop-ups are held each week, Thursday through Saturday from 2:30PM to 7PM, and are currently scheduled until Saturday, October 9. See the full schedule at Broward.org/BCT.
