Chief's Message

Hello Lauderhill Family,

Life threw us a curveball in the form of the Delta Variant, despite the vaccine distributions. Although every precaution is taken, the law enforcement community has been impacted by an alarming number of infections of the new Delta Variant and by having to shift our day-to-day operations, in response. This goes to show that we must remain vigilant against this virus and take protecting ourselves seriously, in order to battle infection rates and keep our friends, family, and co-workers safe.

Through it all, our top priority is to provide the high-quality service that is expected from and known of your Lauderhill Police Department (LPD). As we continue to respond to the needs of our community, I want to take a moment to remind you that safety (both yours and ours) is at the forefront in everything we do and there are methods to help ensure it.

Before the you call LPD for police assistance, consider what type of response will work best for you. We continue to operate our online reporting system for submitting police reports and providing updates or additional information to an existing report. There is also the option of a telephone report, if you would still like to speak directly with an officer.

Should you need an officer to respond in person, please remember to practice social distancing and wear a face covering. Of course, if there is an emergency, your officers will always be there.

At the end of the day, no matter which method you choose, LPD will serve you and the safety of the Lauderhill.
