About Lauderhill

The city proudly holds the title of the “cricket capital” of the United States, thanks to Central Broward Regional Park Stadium—the first U.S. cricket ground certified by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to host international matches. This landmark venue has become a hub for cricket in North America, drawing major international events and helping to grow the sport’s popularity across the region. The city is also popular for arts and recreation, featuring signature destinations like Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, Lauderhill Historical Museum, Lauderhill Golf Course and several scenic parks with picturesque trails. EMT Class is in Session
After a year of planning, April 6th, 2021 was the first day of the Community Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program hosted at Lauderhill’s Fire Station 110 and operated by Coral Springs Regional Institute of Public Safety. Through our scholarship program, there are seven City of Lauderhill residents in the class. Our goals are to expand the EMT course to two classes and bridge them to offer the firefighter curriculum in the future, continuing ways to build career opportunities. This strong start would not have been possible without the support of the City Manager and the great team at City Hall.
