Commissioner "Jabbow" Martin along with Mayor Ken Thurston issued a proclamation to Bobby Henry that declared Monday, February 22^nd, as “Westside Gazette Day,” in honor of the newspaper's 50^th anniversary. The Westside Gazette is Broward County's oldest and largest African American owned and operated periodical. Mr. Henry shared a heartfelt speech of appreciation for the proclamation and a moment of levity with his fellow fraternity brothers from Omega Psi Phi! Congratulations to the Henry Family from all of us at the City of Lauderhill!
