Fire Rescue Awards Four Scholarships for EMT Program

Lauderhill Fire Rescue Department announced the first four residents to receive full EMT scholarships of the new Lauderhill Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Firefighter Program 2021: Jamal Downing, Alicia Petgrave, Benson Louis-Pierre, and Thanelle Williams.

By supporting community training, education, and job placement within the City, the Fire Rescue Department invests in our residents to advance their lifesaving skills in a way that encourages the growth of our community and makes it a safer place to live. Their first day of training begins April 6, 2021 at Fire Station 110. We wish them all success!
