Greetings Lauderhill Family:

Happy New Year! The holiday season is behind us and 2021 is here, with the hopes and possibilities that a new year brings us.

We have endured so much! The year 2020 was a challenging year on many fronts, naturally drawing uncertainty and stress. If left unchecked, the risky combination could boil into resentment. But don’t forget there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Last year’s tragedies showed us that we must care for one another and put community first. Covid-19 although challenging in so many ways, allowed us to show spectacular acts of kindness to one another….ALL over this City!

Let us continue to be patient, respectful, helpful, and always remember we are in this together. Our country’s history tells the story that our darkest moments lead us to our brightest days. Let us be reminded that loss can be a great lesson.

Your Lauderhill Police Department will be there for you – while we rely on you too. Remain vigilant, practice protective healthy habits and social distancing, and let’s move another step closer to our new normal. Make the right calls and remember unity is one of our best assets.

#Lauderhillstrong #Lauderhillproud

Yours in service,

Chief Constance Stanley
