Achsah’s Jamaican Restaurant Gets Back2Business, and Others May Qualify!
Fiserv has announced a program to assist minority-owned small businesses in select counties including Broward.
According to South Florida Caribbean News (SFLCN), Fiserv launched the Back2Business program in August of 2020, and presented a $10,000 grant to Lauderhill’s Achsah’s Jamaican Restaurant. Hyacinth Jones, owner, will use the grant to help pay rent and re-hire the staff that was laid off during the COVID-19 quarantine.
The Back2Business program will help small businesses that have been negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with a variety of services and support. Back2Business is awarding $10 million in grants, thanks to a partnership with the Association for Enterprise Opportunity, a renowned nonprofit organization that targets elevation of Black business communities.
