On Thursday, November 19^th, the Unity in the Community Walk invited all to be social and yet keep a safe distance. St. George Broward Estates Homeowners Association President Sam Wilkerson, Vice Mayor Denise D. Grant, and members of the Lauderhill Police Department (LPD) organized a get-to-know-you stroll along NW 7^th Street. The Walk allowed the community to personally meet LPD officers and share ideas for improving their neighborhood. Commissioner Lawrence "Jabbow" Martin, Commissioner Melissa Dunn, City Manager Desorae Giles-Smith, and elected officials from the State and the City of Fort Lauderdale were also on the Unity Walk. Residents welcomed the initiative, and all CDC guidelines were followed.
