The Lauderhill Training Unit is comprised of 3 experienced officers. They each have extensive training in the area of Firearms, Defensive Tactics, First-Aid, and Pursuit Driving. In order to keep our officers up to date with the ever-evolving Florida State Guidelines, the Training Unit hosts a myriad of exercises throughout every year.
The Lauderhill Training Unit is headquartered in the Central District of Lauderhill, inside Windemere. It is the training center for new Lauderhill Police Department recruits, for several in-house training courses, and serves LPD for community outreach.
We have one sole goal: credible, reliable, and consistently trained officers.
