Lauderhill CARES I and II in Action!

Rolled out in early May, the Lauderhill CARES I and Cares II Grants have proven to be a tremendous resource to Lauderhill residents and businesses owners during the pandemic!

CARES I applications are still being accepted for Lauderhill business owners in need of aide as a result of the Covid-19. At this time, a total of 41 business applications have been accepted, and 15 were approved.  With that, 103 residents have applied, and 21 of them have been approved. The total dispersed in CARES I grant dollars is $59,200. 

The Lauderhill CARES II program was initiated soon after CARES I and all the funds have already been dispersed to qualified residents. The CARES II grants benefited 25 applicants to the tune of $256,500.
