  • The Lauderhill Police Department and Fire Rescue wished Memorial West First Responder Nurse Beckford a VERY HAPPY Birthday! See her heartfelt reaction here - and try not to cry yourself!

  • The Police Department celebrated a Broward Estates Elementary School graduation in a drive-by parade on June 1st. The drive-by was coordinated by Latoya Robinson of the school’s SPARKS program!group of people and police officers stand in school courtyard with graduation banner and balloons
  • First responders together congratulated Taravella High School graduate Jeron Gray on June 6th! In the fall Jeron will enroll at UCF, following in the footsteps of his older sisters
  • Lauderhill Police and Fire Departments along with the National Guard wished a Korean War veteran a happy 85thbirthday on June 6th . This was a drive-by salute like never before!

  • Our Police and Fire departments warmly applauded Emerson E. Bookal, the son of a longtime Lauderhill employee and resident, for finishing his studies at St. George Medical School in Grenada on June 7th.  Emerson E.   • As a token of appreciation for being great first responders, Honey Baked Ham donated 37 hearty hams to the Police and Fire Departments!

  • Pacifica Forest Trace, one of Lauderhill’s premier assisted living facilities, donated 80 meals to the Lauderhill Police Department!

  • Jordan Johnson received a drive-by graduation celebration for completing his high school education from Nova High. Mr. Jordan will be enrolling at Broward College this upcoming term! Next year, he plans on transferring to a major university to pursue his football and computer science careers.

  • Lauderhill Police Department (LPD) Explorer Jacob Curtis received a special and exciting visit from LPD Chief Stanley and his closest officers upon graduating high school with accolades!
