Building Better Communities

On Monday, January 13, 2020, we celebrated the introduction of “Building Better Communities” at the McDonald’s located at 1140 NW 40th Avenue.
 
We kicked-off the event with activities that involved positive interaction workshops, with the assistance and participation of students from Broward Estates Elementary School and from the 5000 Role Model mentorship program, altogether representing several high schools in the area. Community members also had an opportunity to take part in health and wellness activities provided by iCan Fitness. Of course, food and refreshments were supplied by our host restaurant. Throughout 2020, we look forward to “Building Better Communities!”
 
"Building Better Communities” was created to continue to provide you with excellent community policing services and is a collaboration between the Lauderhill Police Department and McDonald’s, Home Depot, Broward Schools, 5000 Role Model (boys’ mentorship group), and iCan Fitness.
