City of Lauderhill Donates Thanksgiving Turkeys

City of Lauderhill donates turkeys to charity.

To help the one in eight people who suffer from hunger on Thanksgiving Day, the City of Lauderhill was determined to jump into action. Commissioner Grant partnered with Childnet, Women on a Mission Outreach, and Pilgrim Christian Universal Church to distribute 120 turkeys to people in need. In addition, Parks and Leisure Services staff was fast at work side by side with indispensable volunteers to deliver over 100 Thanksgiving baskets, which included a turkey and side, to families around the City.
