Celebrating the International Day of the Girl

On Saturday, October 12, 2019, Chief Constance Stanley was honored during the International Day of the Girl celebrated at Delevoe Park in Fort Lauderdale. Chief Stanley received the 'One Powerful Girl Award' during the ceremony, hosted by God's Gift Inc. in partnership with the Broward County Parks & Recreation and Pace Center for Girls. There were many activities during the outdoor event to instill confidence in girls and celebrate their uniqueness. Chief Stanley spoke to the young ladies giving them hope and aspirations to set their goals and reach for their dreams.
