Highlights of Lauderhill Police Enforcement Activity - September 20, 2019

On Tuesday, September 10, 2019, Special Projects Unit (SPU) detectives conducted an extensive investigation after receiving reports of suspects selling illegal substances at the intersection of NW 56 Avenue and W. Oakland Park Blvd. SPU detectives observed a suspect, later identified as Danion Richards, panhandling in traffic near the intersection. They approached Richards, who attempted to sell crack cocaine to undercover detectives. Richards was placed into custody and charged with: Possession of drug paraphernalia, Resisting without Violence, Felony Warrant, and Misdemeanor Warrant.
