Lauderhill Opens an Official Bahamas Relief Drop Off Location for Donations

Official Bahamas Relief Drop Off
9/7/19 Update

The City of Lauderhill Official Bahamas Relief Drop Off location has been an overwhelming success. A number of truck loads have been filled and delivered while supplies are still coming in. Today is the last day the Lauderhill Drop Off location will be open. Go to www.lauderhill-fl.gov/dorianrelief for more information, including other drop off locations available in the County (provided by Broward County Emergency Management). We thank all that have volunteered to work the Lauderhill Drop Off location.  We are especially grateful for the donations from our generous residents and businesses!

2019 Hurricane Dorian Bahamas Relief Flyer

City of Lauderhill Opens an Official Bahamas Relief Drop Off location for donations.

From Wednesday, September 4, 2019 through Saturday, September 7, 2019 the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center’s overflow parking, to the south of the facility, will be the City of Lauderhill’s Official Bahamas Relief Drop-Off location. The address is 3800 NW 11 Place, Lauderhill, 33311 and will be open for collection from 10 am – 7 pm.  We will only be accepting new or unopened products (preferably boxed).

The ONLY items being collected include:
Water
Canned goods
Can openers
Mosquito spray
Sunscreen
Diapers
Baby formula
First aid items
Flashlights
Batteries
New unfueled small generators

No cash or monetary donations will be accepted at this location.

Please bring NON PERISHABLE ITEMS to be donated for the BAHAMIAN RELIEF EFFORT to the Environ Cultural Center office (Address: 3800 Environ Blvd., Lauderhill, FL 33319, Phone: 954-731-4022). Office hours are:

  • Monday & Wednesday from 9am to 7pm
  • Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 9am to 4pm

Your donations will be greatly appreciated. They are accepting:

  • Canned Foods
  • Water
  • Diapers
  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toiletries
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Cleaning Supplies
  • Bleach
  • Alcohol
  • Formula
  • Baby Wipes
  • Cereals

They are not able to send or store clothing at this time.
