NW 47th Ave Improvements to Start August 2019

The City of Lauderhill contracted ENCO, LLC to complete the General Obligation (GO) Bond NW 47th Avenue Improvements Project. This Project should take approximately one year to complete and the first phase is scheduled to commence this August 2019.  It is a comprehensive project that includes culverts, drainage, road work, and irrigation.

Personnel from ENCO, LLC will be working within the City of Lauderhill’s right-of-way limits near and/or adjacent to your property/community. ENCO’s staff will be wearing reflective safety vests and hard hats with an ENCO logo. City Staff and Langan Engineering will also be in the field overseeing the construction operations.

Starting Monday, August 26th until further notice, NW 47th Avenue will be closed between NW 12 Street and 10th Court just south of the canal/bridge and NW 11th Street until further notice and/or Phase One of the project is complete. Only local traffic will be permitted in this area.

As we work toward completing Seven (7) Phases of work, Phase One will start on the south end of NW 47 Avenue and work toward the north until 26th Street as each of the 7 Phases are completed.

Please heed all caution and directional signs provided. NW 10 Court will be identified as an alternative road off of NW 47 Avenue to redirect local traffic into the neighborhood.   See map on the other side.

For emergencies or concerns, please contact the Department of Environmental and Engineering Services Department (DEES) at 954 730-2960.

Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the community.
