ASIS Broward County Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet
Chief Stanley was a Special Guest Speaker during the 2019 ASIS Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet honoring Broward County law enforcement leaders. During her speech, Chief Stanley thanked law enforcement commanders for their hard work and dedication. She also participated in the Fallen Law Enforcement Officer Ceremony where she lit a candle in memory of those officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while in the line of duty.
Also, at the ASIS Law Enforcement Appreciation Banquet, 26 nominees were considered for Officer of the Year from 15 different Broward County police departments. Our very own Lauderhill Police Sgt. Everton Weeks received the highly coveted Officer of the Year Award for his life saving efforts of an infant! Congratulations Sgt. Weeks! Thank you for your dedication to the citizens of Lauderhill!
