Safety Town Events

On March 27th and April 3rd, the Lauderhill Police Department in partnership with the Lauderhill Fire Department and Parks and Leisure Services, continued hosting Safety Town events.  Nearly 200 students ages 3 to 8 have traveled through the Miniature Town receiving information about the dangers they may face in real life situations. Safety topics covered traffic and personal safety, stranger danger, venomous critters, fire safety and everyday dangers.

Safety Town events are scheduled for elementary schools in Lauderhill through the end of May.  The Lauderhill Police Department hopes to continue with Safety Town events throughout the summer as well as the upcoming school year.
