FOR WATER SYSTEM CHLORINATION

Lauderhill Water Division to Run Yearly Chlorination Tests at the end of
The City of Lauderhill’s Water Division must conduct its yearly Preventive Maintenance Procedure which will affect the City’s chlorine levels.
This Chlorination Procedure will begin on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 12 midnight.
It will end on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 12 midnight.
During this Chlorination Procedure, your water quality will absolutely continue to meet ALL Federal and State standards for safe drinking water. Keep in mind, you may observe a slight change in the taste and odor of your tap water. Again, do not be alarmed, your water is safe to drink.
This Chlorination Procedure will affect residents served by the City of Lauderhill. Residents who are on kidney dialysis or those who have other medical conditions should contact their health care providers for more information about increasing chlorine levels in their drinking water during this time.
In addition, some customers may see water running from fire hydrants in their neighborhoods which is part of the normal maintenance process.
