"Members of the Lauderhill Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division brought a little bit of happiness to a Lauderhill family today so that they could enjoy the Thanksgiving Day holiday". That is how the press release submitted on Wednesday, November 21st read about the acts of kindness by Lauderhill Police Detectives who pulled from their own personal resources to donate a Thanksgiving meal to a Lauderhill family. The family suffered the tragic loss of their father and beloved husband earlier this year. The family has been facing hardship since, but due to the kind acts of some of Lauderhill Police angels, the family was able to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.
