Lauderhill, FL – Thursday, September 20, 2018 – 10:00 AM - The City of Lauderhill and the Community Redevelopment Agency are bringing you a new kind of party in Lauderhill!
Pork, Pints, and Palettes a BEER-B-Q - is unlike any other festival in South Florida! You may think you know Lauderhill, but you don’t know us like this! Barbecue, Beer and Art….Welcome to Lauderhill in our new downtown Entertainment District located in the So-La Arts District!
Pork, Pints, and Palettes will feature a barbecue contest between the tri-county’s best grill masters. Traditional brews and new brews will be available for taste and on sale by local Craft Brewers. Laugh along with live Comedians including Lauderhill’s own Chris Priester and friends. Enjoy today’s hits from Lauderhill’s-own DJ Big Man Kelly. For the creative and artistic party goers….. role up your sleeves and join us in painting giant panels! And for the music lovers, don’t miss the live music from Kent Jones – a famous American Hip Hop Recording Artist with hits like Merengue and Don’t Mind.
Power 96.5 FM and “Ya Chica Ivy” will be on site for a live remote with giveaways and promotions. Free samples of beer from Funky Buddha, Mack House, Holy Mackerel, and Khoffner Breweries will be available. Barbecue will be on sale from vendors including the famous “Hickory Sticks” and finger-licking good “Smokey Seas.” A full liquor bar will be on site as well as several food trucks. Jerk pork, pulled pork, barbecued pork, you name it! This Beer-B-Q will have food galore and everyone will leave full and licking their fingers! Come out, bring a friend. Play Corn Hole, Life-Size Jenga, as well as other backyard games! This is Pork, Pints, and Palettes in Lauderhill!
This FREE Beer-B-Q Event will take place on NW 38th Avenue between NW 19th Street and NW 16th Street. Free parking is on NW 15th Street and NW 38th Avenue. Please take 441 to NW 16th Avenue and head south on NW 38th Avenue to the General Parking lot.
