Calling All Artists: Art in Corridor to Come to Life In SOLA Arts District

The City of Lauderhill is seeking to commission several artists to paint a mural that will be attached at the entrance driveway leading up to the Lauderhill Performing Art Center, (LPAC), located on 441 just North of Sunrise Blvd on Lauderhill Avenue of the Arts. The murals should be fun, playful, big, visible and memorable and reflect the spirit of Lauderhill. The artwork will be juried, and winning artists will be awarded a $1,250.00 contract. The actual commencement of the artwork will be transformed into an event that will be open to the public and media and will be held sometime in October 2018. Stay tuned for more details!

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS (DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 14th)

Artists must submit the following:

  1. Proposed concept.  Scaled plan of the mural concept in color on any size paper, canvas or digital and any other relevant details.
  2. 3 images of past murals.
