Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide transportation services to senior citizens, youths and others in the City. Employees in this classification perform routine transport work. Position is responsible for transporting clients to medical centers, nursing homes, daycare centers, recreational trips and other places as required. Performs related work as directed.
High School diploma or GED; supplemented by up to six (6) months previous experience driving 45 or more passenger vehicle; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• CPR certification (must obtain within three (3) months of hire)
• Florida CDL Class B or higher with P endorsement
